Why Waste Money On Expensive SPA Treatment

For the past few years, many so called homegrown health and beauty spa business thrived in Singapore. It is not surprising that beauty chain of spa business boom and flourished during the economic and financial good times.

As the world economy and financial condition slumps to all time low, many of these spa industries are affected as a result of reduction in both existing and new customers. Customers are tightening their belt amidst economic uncertainties. Check out the recent SPA center go bust report Wax Beauty Center Go Burst news.

Spa business in Singapore are usually established by so called health and cosmetic beauticians, many of which don’t know what exactly SPA means. The term SPA seems to be one of the most widely misused term in the health and wellness industry. The SPA name is branded in almost all kinds of products, inclusive of toiletry items!

Many people associate SPA with massage, reflexology or simply dipping in Jacuzzi or Sauna. Is that what SPA is all about? I bet the majority of the population doesn’t even have the slightest idea as to what the acronym ‘SPA’ really means!

And mind you, the SPA treatment course in Singapore is not cheap. A monthly package could cost up to over 2 thousand dollars or more. A SPA session of 40 minutes or so in the hot tub could easily cost well over Singapore 85 dollars.

It used to be the case that only rich tai-tais could afford such wellness treatment but with the increase affluent Singapore society, girls who are still in the college have no second thoughts of signing up for package that cost almost up to several thousands of dollars.

Thus I am not surprise of the recent customer complaints against SPA centers that closed down abruptly amidst economic uncertainties. Well, in actual fact you could save much by setting up SPA at the comfort of your own home. You don’t need to spend thousands of dollars and risk losing your money due to SPA business closure.
